Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)
Antisocial behaviour (ASB) is defined as behaviour which causes, or is likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress to persons or communities.
ASB can affect anyone, and incidents can take place anywhere and can affect people at their home locations, work locations and any other places a person would need to go.
Personal ASB
Behaviour deliberately targeted at an individual or a specific group.
Nuisance ASB
Behaviour that causes wider annoyance or disruption to a community.
Environmental ASB
Behaviour that impacts public spaces, buildings, or the local environment.
ASB can include:
- Abandoned Vehicles and / or Vehicle Nuisance
- Rowdy or Inconsiderate Behaviour (in public spaces or by neighbours)
- Littering, Street Drinking or Drug Dealing
- Nuisance Noise (such as from public events)
- Animal Problems
- Trespassing
- Nuisance Calls
- Begging
- Misuse of Fireworks
